Crownforest is a eight piece reggae band based in Berlin, Germany. Coming from Mauritius, Cuba, Chile, England, Brazil and Germany, they play original music and have been performing for the last three years. Their multicultural background shapes their sound into a mixture of Rootsreggae, Dub and afro-latin rhythms. The Message of the music confronts you with the reality and the injustice of today`s world. Crownforest brings a strong message of awakening through conscious lyrics, solid rhythms, infectious bass and soul lifting brass lines. The result is an exciting and groovy music that is hard not to meditate, dance and fly to.
Crownforest ist eine 8-köpfige Reggae Band aus Berlin. Die Musiker kommen aus Mauritius, Kuba, Chile, England, Brasilien und Deutschland. Sie spielen selbst geschriebene Lieder und performen seit 3 Jahren. Ihr multikultureller Hintergrund formt ihren Sound, daraus entsteht eine Musik basierend auf Rootsreggae, Dub, Lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen und Jazz. Die Musik setzt sich mit politischen und sozialen Ungerechtigkeiten auseinander. Crownforest steht für sozialkritische Texte, starke Rhythmen, satte Bässe und ansteckende Bläsersätze. Das Ergebnis ist eine aufregend groovige Musik bei welcher es schwer wird nicht zu tanzen, zu meditieren oder zu fliegen.
